A day in Bologna

Bologna, historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region was the first part of our Italy trip.

We came by plane and took a bus for a short ride to the heart of the city. We had just one day, so we made a plan:

First we get to Parco de Montagnola.

Where is a great place to see panorama of Bologna, just above the market.

And then to Via dell’ Indipendenza to the City Centre.

A small detour to view the Canal.

Next stop, via Rizzoli and two towers of Bologna and the Church of Santi Bartolomeo e Gaetano.

Next

Then we pointed to Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno.

Eat: Impero and Via Caprarie

See: Cathedral, two towers of Bologna and the Church of Santi Bartolomeo e Gaetano, Canal

Shopping: Via dell’ Indipendenza
