Budapest is not far away from our town, just 250km and we took two days to discover main attractions of Hungarian capital.
We booked a flat near the town centre (in Pest) and took a walk to the Danube.
Our next stop was Hungarian National Museum, an impressive building where we enjoyed (maybe 2 hours) watching the history of this country which is so closely connected to our Croatia.
Next stop was the famous Vaci street.
Again, to the Danube. Next stop was Szechenyi Chain Bridge which was at that time closed for traffic and we was free to walk on the road.
Then, we turned to St.Stephen’s Basilica and later there was enough time to wander a bit in the centre.
Next day, early in the morinng we was on the way to the airport. We left so many spots to see for next time in this town, like Buda Castle or the Zoo…
