We came to Glasgow Queen Street station with train from Inverness via Perth. Short walk through pedestrian zone took us to our hotel. Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre. We decided to relax in the final days of our trip to Scotland and just wonder the streets of this lovely city. George Square and river Clyde was the first sightseeing choices.
It was Saturday and it was a match day – Celtic played home to St.Johnstone. We tried to buy tickets in city centre (Celtic store) or via net, but with no success, so we took a bus to Celtic Park and bought tickets just a few minutes before the game. We enjoyed it, Celtic played well, but didn’t won that day (1:1).
Last day was reserved for some shopping and sightseeing. On afternoon we walked through river Clyde promenade from centre to Riverside museum. Museum was interesting for kids(for us too), the best part is the Tall Ship outside of museum.
Next was Kelvingrove park, unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
